How CAREGD™ handles information collected through America Checks In™. Last updated August 2026.
About this policy
This policy explains what CAREGD™ collects through the America Checks In™ website and its check-in experiences, why it is collected, and how to reach us about it.
The check-in itself
The check-in is completed without an account. You are asked three tap questions — where your headspace is, how much you are carrying, and what would help most. There are no written answers, no diagnosis and no personal story required. Responses are stored against an anonymous session identifier held in your browser, not against your name, and are never shown back to an employer, school, partner or organization as an individual result.
What we never collect
America Checks In does not ask participants to tell us what another person shared during a private check-in conversation. We never collect the content of your conversations, and we never collect the names, phone numbers or email addresses of the three people you choose to check in on. There is no free-text field anywhere in the standard check-in — every answer is a tap.
Your people
America Checks In™ does not ask for the names, phone numbers or email addresses of the people you choose to check in on. Participants select one to three relationship categories, such as Friend, Parent / Grandparent, Coworker or Neighbor. The specific people remain known only to the participant. Relationship-category activity and progress may be associated with an anonymous session for aggregate participation insight and journey continuity. CAREGD™ does not need to know the identities of the people being checked on.
Aggregate insight
Headspace, pressure and support selections are used only in aggregate — for example, the share of participants who selected 'Heavy' in a given month. Aggregate reporting is never broken down to a level where an individual could be identified.
Contact information and reminders
If you choose to keep checking in, we collect your first name and your email address together with your explicit consent, and record the date of that consent. Reminders are by email only; text message reminders are not offered. Every reminder email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, your unsubscribe is recorded immediately, and you can also stop at any time by contacting us.
Anonymous participation is never merged into a contact profile
Participation is counted without a name, an email address, a phone number, an account or reminder consent. Reminder details are stored separately from check-in answers. Where a session token links your reminder request to your own progress so you can pick up where you left off, that link exists to give you continuity — your individual headspace, pressure and support selections are never attached to a marketing profile and are never shown to a partner, employer, organization or community leader.
Free-text fields and safety routing
The contact and inquiry forms accept written messages. If a message appears to describe a serious safety situation, the site shows relevant emergency, crisis or specialized support resources on screen. That check happens in your browser, is not a diagnosis or an assessment, and your words are never written into our behavioural analytics — only the fact that safety resources were shown. These forms are not monitored 24/7 and are not an emergency-response channel.
Source and partner attribution
We record how a visit reached the site — for example a Founding Community link, a partner link, a QR code, a campaign parameter or another participant's share link — and store it with the check-in session so participation can be attributed to the community that invited you. Attribution does not identify you to that partner, and individual referral activity is never published.
Participation events
We record behavioural milestones such as starting a check-in, completing the self check-in, selecting one to three relationship categories, confirming a check-in, opting into reminders, returning, and sharing an invite. These events record that the behaviour happened, together with the originating source — not what was said or who it was with.
Founding 100 enrollment
When you become a Founding Check-In Leader™ or Founding Champion™ we receive and store your name, email address, phone number where provided, the founding level chosen, the amount paid, the confirmation of payment from Stripe, and the Founding Number issued to you after payment is confirmed.
Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe through Stripe-hosted checkout. Card details are entered on Stripe's own pages. CAREGD never sees or stores card numbers. We receive only the payment confirmation and the checkout details described in this policy.
Shipping and fulfilment information
Founding Champion™ orders include physical items. For those orders Stripe collects a shipping address and a shirt size at checkout and we store them so the items can be produced and shipped. This information is used for fulfilment and founding recognition only.
Inquiries and partnership forms
Organization, sponsor, partner and contact forms collect the information you enter — typically a name, organization, email, phone number where provided, and the details of your inquiry — so we can respond and follow up.
Third-party providers we use
Stripe (payment processing and checkout), Lovable Cloud (website hosting, database and file storage), and TidyCal (booking partnership conversations). No third-party advertising network or external analytics tracking script is installed on this site.
Cookies and browser storage
The site stores a small amount of information in your browser: an anonymous session identifier, the relationship categories and progress you selected on that device, and your campaign attribution. This storage is functional; it is not used for advertising.
Access and deletion
You can ask us what enrollment, reminder or inquiry information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it. Because check-in responses are stored anonymously, we may not be able to locate a specific check-in unless you can supply the return link it produced. Clearing your browser storage removes locally stored check-in progress and relationship selections from that device immediately. Some payment and order records are retained where we are required to keep them.
Retention
Reminder contact details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Founding, order and inquiry information is kept for as long as needed to fulfil the commitment, respond to you, and meet record-keeping obligations. Anonymous check-in responses and participation events are retained in aggregate form for movement reporting.
Adults, young people and facilitated programs
Public digital participation on this site — the check-in experience, reminder sign-up and enrollment forms — is designed for adults 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect an email address from a minor. Schools, youth sports programs, parent organizations and family activations take part through separately approved CAREGD™ facilitated pathways, which are run with the organization rather than through personal sign-ups on this site.
